Oregon Beauty...


This is lava fields near sisters and McKenzie Pass. As you notice though this area was covered by lava at one point, but still tree's and bushes grow out of that lava. The pumas is quit hard and leaves red like beaded rocks on the hwy. 

The only way I know how to describe just how big this rock wall is to look at the large tree's at the bottom. Those tree's are not little tiny tree's. It was so massive, our car look like a tiny toy car next to it. The boulders were very large down below. Hard to capture to show you. I stood in awe at how big it really was.

There were also wild forest fires going on the devastation was terrible.
Here below are tree's burnt by a previous fire all the way to the hwy on both sides. Another fire is consuming the forest as well. Notice the smoke in the sky in this picture.
